Rabies Clinic

The Town of Norway will be conducting a dog enumeration beginning in April of 2022. NYS Law requires that all dogs older than (4) four months must be licensed. Licensing ensures that all dogs have been properly vaccinated against rabies for the protection of both you and your neighbors. Any dog living with you for more than 30 days must be licensed.

This is essentially a census for our canine companions. We may also be asking if you have any cats, ferrets or other animals in the household so we can alert our first responders in the event of an emergency. Included with this letter is a license form. Additional forms are available from the Town Clerk.

Failure to license may result in additional enumeration fees being added to the cost of your dog’s license. As a reminder, The Town of Norway will be hosting a Rabies Clinic on Thursday June 2nd at the Norway Community Center from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Also included with this mailing is a schedule for other local clinics. If you have any further questions, please contact Lora Grower

Thank you for your cooperation.
